Doris R. Mondor
Doris R. Mondor, 72, of Biddeford died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough after a long illness.
She was born in Biddeford Sept. 6, 1936, to Armand and Mabel Pinard Landry. She attended Biddeford schools and graduated from the former St. Andre’s High School in 1955.
On June 30, 1955, she married Richard G. Mondor in St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford. He died on Sept. 30, 1997.
Mrs. Mondor worked more than 40 years at Pepperell, West Point Pepperell & West Point Stevens Manufacturing Co., and retired in 1998.
She was a member of the Biddeford Eagles and St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include her son, Donald R. Mondor and his wife, Cathy, of East Waterboro; her grandchildren, Meagan Mondor and her fiancé, Seth Antognoni of Gardiner, Rebecca Mondor and Michael Mondor of East Waterboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was last Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.

Cynthia A. Claffey
Cynthia A. Claffey 55, of Saco, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
A graveside service was Saturday at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland. Arrangements were by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
Helen A. Audie
Helen A. Audie, 70, died Sunday, July 19, 2009.
The daughter of Eliot A. Woodis and Alta L. Pendexter, she graduated from Windham High School in 1957.
She was employed by St. Andre’s Healthcare for three years and devoted the majority of her life to her family.
Mrs. Audie was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved doting on her grandchildren. She enjoyed spiritual reading and treasured her library of books that she collected over the years. She also enjoyed writing each day in her personal and weather journals.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, William J. Audie; her children, David E. Dyer and his wife, Suzanna, Rusty A. Dyer and his wife, Mary, both of Austin, Texas, Brian C. Dyer and his wife, Karen, of Old Orchard Beach, Jeff L. Dyer and his wife, Brenda, of Kennebunk, Lisa M. Packard and her husband, Tim, of Biddeford, and Lenora M. Audie of Saco; her sisters, Judy Butts and her husband, Dick, and Lucille Woodis, both of Windham; and eight grandchildren, Keith, Jason, Megan, Brooke, Jared, Brianna, Hannah and Cayte.
A memorial service will be private. Memorial donations may be made in her name to: Boystown, 300 Flanagan Blvd., P.O. Box 7000, Boystown, NE 68010.

Roland J. Boucher
Roland J. Boucher, 81, of Biddeford, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 22, 1928, in Biddeford to William J. and Rose Alma (Cloutier) Boucher and was educated in Biddeford schools.
On Oct. 2, 1948, he married Antoinette Perreault at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford.
Mr. Boucher worked for six years at the Bates Manufacturing Co. in Saco, and for more than 20 years at the Saco Tanning Corp. He last worked as a night watchman on Factory Island, and retired in 1993.
In his retirement Mr. Boucher worked part time at Hannaford Bros. in Biddeford and painted for the Sisters at Bay View Convent in Saco.
He was an associate member of the Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sisters at Bay View, was involved in the charismatic movement in Biddeford and was an active member of St. Joseph’s Parish where he served as a Eucharistic minister, and as sacristan at funerals. He visited the sick and the dying and prayed for them at daily Mass.
He was predeceased by his wife, Antoinette Boucher; a daughter, Claire Desrosier; a grandson, Guy R. Boucher, and two great-grandchildren, Rebekah and Sam.
Survivors include his sons, Guy Boucher and his wife, Phyllis, of Biddeford and Mark Boucher and his wife, Jean, of Yarmouth; his daughters, Rolande Campbell and her husband, Bob, of Millbury, Mass., Ann Delcourt and her husband, Normand, of Biddeford and Celeste Sevigny and her husband, Bruce, of Biddeford; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford, with burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Biddeford.
Donations in Mr. Boucher’s memory may be made to Bon Appetit Meal Program, in care of Second Congregational Church, 19 Crescent St., Biddeford, ME 04005.

June P. Logan
June P. Logan, 88, of Biddeford, died Monday, July 20, 2009, at Durgin Pines Healthcare Facility, Kittery.
She was born in Biddeford June 3, 1921, to Thomas and Sadie (Flood) Butler. She graduated from Biddeford High School in 1939 and attended the former Gray’s Business College, Portland.
Mrs. Logan worked at Pepperell Manufacturing during the 1940s and later with Sears-Roebuck during the 1950s. She was the former owner of Logan’s Guest House in Portland for more than15 years. She last worked with Studio Gift Shop in Ocean Park until her retirement in 2000.
She was a former member of St. Mary’s Church for many years. Mrs. Logan enjoyed spending her time gardening and occasionally bowling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her cherished family and friends.
She was predeceased by her sister, E. Rita Gnoza.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Edge, of Franklin, Mass.; her sons, Richard Logan of Portland and Raymond A. Logan Jr. of Cornish; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a nephew and several cousins
A memorial service was Saturday at Hope Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private.

Theresa G. Pendleton
Theresa G. Pendleton, 81, of Camp Ellis Beach, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough.
She was born Jan. 13, 1928, in Pawtucket, R.I. , to George and Alma (Lemere) Granger Sr. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Claremont, N.H. Following her graduation, she moved to Camp Ellis.
On Sept. 1, 1947, she married Charles I. Pendleton in Saco.
Mrs. Pendleton was formerly employed at the Saco Lowell Shops, was a waitress at Wormwood’s Restaurant in Camp Ellis, and owned and operated The Cellar Ceramics Shop, where she also gave lessons. She was last employed for several years by Brailey’s Lobster Pound.
Mrs. Pendleton was past president and treasurer of the Camp Ellis Ladies Auxiliary and also was a clerk in Ward 4 for the city of Saco for many years. Throughout her life, she was active in both the Saco and the Most Holy Trinity Church communities.
She enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch, crocheting, gardening, music and spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Charles I. Pendleton Sr., on April 25, 1998, her brothers, Roland Granger and George Granger Jr., and her sisters, Rita Granger and Jeanne Dwyer.
Survivors include her daughters, Dianne (Robert) Henderson of Saco, Ruth (Robert) Henry of Alfred, Elaine (Dwight) Pendleton of Frisco, Texas , Nancy Pendleton Butler of Bradenton, Fla., and Elcye (John) Boucher of Saco; her son, Charles Pendleton Jr. and his wife, Dawn, of Saco; her sister, Anne Zweeres of Swanton, Vt.; her brother, Leo Granger of Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Stanley L. Wentworth
Stanley L. Wentworth, 84, of Biddeford, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough.
He was born Jan. 14, 1925, in Biddeford to Harold and Irene Courtois Wentworth. He was educated in Saco schools. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II and graduated from Bridgton Academy in 1948.
On Aug. 28, 1948, he married Renette Masse at St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.
He worked for 32 years at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. After retiring in 1980 he worked for Sweetser Home in Saco for three years.
Mr. Wentworth was an avid walker; he enjoyed golfing and following his grandchildren’s high school sports activities.
He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Wentworth.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Renette Wentworth of Biddeford; a daughter, Kim Elizabeth Loranger and her husband, Raymond, of Biddeford; his grandsons, Kevin and Timothy Loranger of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was Monday at Hope Memorial Hospital, Biddeford, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Wentworth’s memory may be made to Gosnell Memorial Hospice, 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough, ME 04073.
