EASY TO SPOT
A man running from police lost a sneaker during his flight. Police eventually captured the man and arrested him for refusing to submit to arrest.
TRAFFIC SNARL
A business owner advised police more signs were needed directing drivers back to Route 1 because he was constantly giving directions.
NO CANDY BEFORE BED
A caller reported a man swallowed a piece of candy while asleep and was having difficulty breathing.
NOT SUSPICIOUS, JUST DANCING
A caller reported a vehicle parked across the street from his house for more than 10 minutes. Police said the vehicle occupants were from a dance service and were expected.
ON YOUR OWN
A caller reported a bat in her house she could not get to leave. Police advised her to “leave the door open” or seek help from friends or family to remove the bat as police are not equipped to handle them.
WET REPORT
A caller reported several people throwing water balloons at cars. The caller was struck through an open car window and a police cruiser responding was hit by water balloons as well. The people went into the house when they saw the cruiser.
TOUCHY
An alarm company called in a home alarm for breaking glass. The homeowner was contacted and said it was a false alarm due to window washers.
DID YOU CHECK THE MESSAGE?
A caller reported a homing pigeon landed in his yard. The caller was advised that does not constitute an emergency.
NO, THAT’S MY BEER
A caller reported two men fighting over beer.
BREAKING AND INSTALLING
A caller reported a suspicious man attempting to break into or steal an air conditioner. The caller said the man went inside the building. Police said the man was related to the tenant and was helping install the air conditioner.
