Michelle El Morabit
Michelle Anne El Morabit, 48, of Lake Worth, Fla., died at home Monday, Jan. 11, 2010.
She was born March 23, 1961, in Biddeford to Armand R. “Joe” and Pauline Neveux Boisvert. She was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1979.
She moved to Florida in 1986. On Dec. 2, 1986, she married Abdessamad El Morabit. She was employed at the Boca Hotel as a concierge and for the last 10 years worked at home as a transcriptionist.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Denise Boisvert and Anne Jordan.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years of Lake Worth, Fla.; two daughters, Yasmina El Morabit and Layla El Morabit of Lake Worth, Fla.; a son, Samir El Morabit of Lake Worth, Fla.; her mother of Biddeford; her sister, Diane Marcotte and her partner, Robert Laverriere, of Saco; her brother, Charles E. Boisvert and his fiancée, Linda Guay, of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford. Arrangements are by Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford.
Doris M. Letourneau
Doris M. Letourneau, 84, of Old Orchard Beach, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough.
She was born Sept. 16, 1925, in Saco to Frederick and Delia Couture Blow and educated in Saco schools.
On Sept. 28, 1946, she married Alfred J. “Pete” Letourneau in Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. He died Jan. 2, 2008.
Mrs. Letourneau was a homemaker. She worked 20 years at Pepperell Manufacturing Co. and for many summers at the Nestling Duck Gift Shop in Scarborough.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Kramer, on Dec. 5, 2009.
Survivors include her son, Robert Letourneau and his wife, Michelle, of Beverly, Mass.; her daughter, Peggy Donovan and her husband, Mike, of Biddeford; her sister, Lillian Gervais of Biddeford; two brothers, Frederick C. Blow II and his wife, Edrina, of Saco, and Paul R. Blow of Vassalboro; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was Saturday at St. Joseph Church of the Good Shepherd Parish in Biddeford with entombment in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.

Geraldine A. Bouchard
Geraldine A. Bouchard, 76, of Old Orchard Beach, died at her home Saturday, Feb.6, 2010, after a brief illness.
She was born in Van Buren on Jan. 25, 1934, to Romeo and Gertrude Sirois Couture. She was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1952.
On May 30, 1958, she married Joseph L.R. Bouchard in St. Joseph Church. He died June 4, 1992.
Mrs. Bouchard worked a few years at Nichol’s Department Store in Biddeford. She later worked 22 years at Sewall Wood Products in Scarborough. She and her husband owned and operated Joe’s Quality Meat Market in Biddeford and Joanne’s Motel in Saco. She last worked at the Sports Center Sporting Goods Store in Biddeford. In retirement she worked part time at Scarborough Downs while raising her grandson.
She enjoyed New England Patriots football, going to bingo and shopping.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Romeo and Percy Couture.
Survivors include her son John A. Bouchard and his partner, Dawn Oliver, of Old Orchard Beach; her daughter, Deborah Ciesielski and her fiancé, Robert Linscott, of Biddeford; her sister, Diane Meehan and her husband, Michael, of Lyman; her grandson, Aaron J. Bouchard of Old Orchard Beach; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was Wednesday at Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.

Florence Lottinville
Florence Lottinville, 90, of Biddeford, died at home Saturday, Feb. 6, 2009, after a brief illness.
She was born May 7, 1919, in Biddeford, to Omer and Marie Guay Turgeon and was educated locally. She was a summer resident of Hills Beach for 40 years.
On Aug. 8, 1942, she married Leo Lottinville at St. Joseph Church. She was employed at Herman Shoe and retired in 1984. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and the Voltigeur Club. She enjoyed spending time at Hills Beach with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Lottinville, in 1974; two sisters, Irma Caron in 1994 and Bertha Larose in 1987; two brothers, Wilfred “Blackie” Turgeon in 1966 and Arthur Turgeon in 1980.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Biddeford. Arrangements were by Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford.
Donald Landry
Donald Landry, 76, of Wallingford, Conn., and formerly of Saco, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in New Haven, Conn.
He was born July 14, 1933, in Saco to Rosaire and Florida Jariz Landry. He attended Saco and Biddeford schools.
Mr. Landry worked for many years at the Kesselan Shoe Shops and Pepperell Mills.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen; his son, Donald; three sisters, Fleurette Fenderson, Jean Cormeau and Pris Turgeon, all of Saco; one brother, Roy Landry of Westbrook; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rachel Roy.
A private funeral was held at Wallingford Funeral Home in Wallingford, Conn.
David A. Stone
David A. Stone, 57, of Kennebunkport, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at the d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston after a long illness.
He was born Aug.12, 1952, in Biddeford to Willie and Ruth Butler Stone. He attended local schools and was a 1971 graduate of Kennebunk High School
He worked several years at the K and E Co.as a machinist and at Southern Maine Medical Center in environmental services. He was an active member of the Goose Rocks Fire Department until his illness forced his retirement.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Stone Baker.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Roberta “Robin” Stone of Kennebunkport; a son, Willie, and grandson, Charles, both of Biddeford; two sisters, Ann Hutchins and her husband, Mike, and Louise Rice and her husband Steve, both of Kennebunkport; a cousin, Jan “Jimmie” Mason of Kennebunkport; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be 1 to 3 p.m. at his home, 81 Whitten Hill Road, Kennebunkport.
Donations to a charity of choice are requested in lieu of flowers.

Suzanne P. Perreault
Suzanne Pauline Perreault, 66, of Biddeford, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough following a long illness.
She was born May 26, 1943, in Biddeford, to Emery and Laurette (Marcotte) Perreault and was educated locally. She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s High School in 1961 and the University of Southern Maine in 1986.
She worked at Shape Corp. in the early 1970s and the law office of attorney Patterson from 1975 until 1980. While in college, she worked at Pape Chevrolet and upon her graduation from the University of Southern Maine she worked at the accounting firm of Barry Dunn McNeil. She most recently was self-employed as an accountant and semi-retired four years ago due to ill health.
She was a member of St. Andre Church. She enjoyed sewing, trips to the beach, especially the beach at Ocean Park and participating in family activities.
Survivors include three sons, Ronald Sevigny and his wife, Rebecca, of Saco, Thomas Sevigny and his wife, Karen, of Biddeford, and James Sevigny; two sisters, Gertrude Maurice and Georgeanne Small of Biddeford; two brothers, Michael Perreault of Hollis Center and Ronald Perreault of Saco; four granddaughters, two grandsons, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Andre Church in Biddeford. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.

Phyllis M. Truscott
Phyllis M. Truscott died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010. She was born in 1930, the third child of the late Percy and Nellie (Hutchins) Burgess. She was raised primarily in Goodwins Mills where she attended grammar school.
She developed a lifelong love of animals in her childhood, growing attached to the various farm and work animals her father raised. During these formative years, her father kept horses for his work in logging camps, clearing land during winter, and storing the timber near waterways for the spring thaw. Some of her fondest memories were riding these horses in the countryside.
She attended Thornton Academy as a freshman, lived in Old Orchard Beach during her early high school years, and was employed at hotels during summers. She withdrew from school due to a bout with pneumonia and was nursed to health by friends in Portland. She returned briefly to Goodwins Mills in 1948, married in January 1949, and had her first child, Barbara Jean, in early 1950.
She was soon a single mother, moved to Kennebunk, and worked long hours to support herself and Barbara. She met Arnold Truscott whom she married in 1952; they had two children, and lived in Kennebunk for nearly 50 years.
She was active in the Cub Scouts, Brownies, Christ Church and American Legion Auxiliary. Throughout these childrearing years she was also a bookkeeper for a home decorating business. Fulfilling a pledge to herself, she returned to school and earned her diploma from Biddeford Adult Education in the early 1960s.
Her love of nature, gardening, birds, and especially her Schnauzers were always evident in her home. During the 1980s she became a die-hard Celtic’s fan and attended many games, including the championship game in 1984. For many years she wintered in Florida, enjoying the sunshine and especially the many and exotic birds.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara; her former husband Arnold Truscott, and brother, Richard Burgess.
Survivors include her daughter Martha Truscott; son Michael Truscott; daughter-in-law Margo Truscott; lifelong friend Donald Maloy; sister Virginia Babine; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, followed by a fellowship gathering at the funeral home until noon.
Burial will be private.
