Normand E. Roy

 

Normand E. Roy, 57, of Saco and formerly of Biddeford, died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

He was born Nov. 4, 1952, in Biddeford to Dorilas and Murielle (Villeneuve) Roy. He graduated from St. Louis High School in 1970.

Mr. Roy served in the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated N. R. Realty of Biddeford for 12 years. He was very active in real estate and land development in the Biddeford and Saco area. He also was proprietor of Roy’s Deli in Biddeford for several years.

In 1994 he moved to Jacksonville, Fla. He was employed as a sales representative with Laminates “R” US in Miami and Centex Homes in Sarasota for 13 years. In 2007, he moved back to Saco.

Mr. Roy was a parishioner of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Good Shepherd Parish. He was invited under Bishop Feeney to serve as a lay person on the Diocese Evangelization Board. He also served as the diocesan lay director for the Cursillo Movement and was past president of the St. Joseph finance committee for six years. He also served as a church usher and volunteered for many church activities.

Mr. Roy was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Biddeford Council, fourth degree. He enjoyed fishing but most of all loved to spend time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by one sister, Monique Dube.

Survivors include his parents, Dorilas and Murielle Roy of Biddeford; two sons, Denis Roy of Falls Church, Va., and Patrick Roy of Biddeford; one daughter, Caroline Heinselman and her husband, Brian, of Pawtucket, R.I.; one brother, Marcel Roy and his wife, Christine, of Kennebunk; three sisters, Helene Hallczuk and her husband, Michael, of New Mexico, Claire Wyman and her husband, John, of Biddeford and Therese Acord and her husband, Christopher, of Richmond. 

 Arrangements were by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.

 

Priscilla D. Boissonneault

 

Priscilla D. Boissonneault, 75, of Biddeford died Thursday, July 15, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 111 in Arundel.

She was born Aug. 23, 1934, in Biddeford to Andre and Madeleine Bellefeuille Perreault. She was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph High School in 1952.

On June 10, 1955, she married Ralph A. Boissonneault in St. Joseph Church, Biddeford. He died in February 1977.

Mrs. Boisssonneault worked several years at Pepperell Manufacturing Co. She later worked at St. Louis Child Care on Birch Street and last worked at the University of New England, all in Biddeford. She enjoyed reading and cooking.

She was preceded in death by two sons, James and John Boissonneault  and a granddaughter, Gemma Boissonneault.

Survivors include her son, Kevin R. Boissonneault of Dayton; her stepmother, Marie Anne Perreault of Biddeford; Eight sisters, Jeanne Sirois of Biddeford, Annette Langevin and her husband, Raymond, of Arundel, Pauline Custeau of Old Orchard Beach, Lorraine Palmer and her husband, Vince, of Waterboro, Christine Guay and her husband, Gerald, of Dayton, Jocelyn Dawson of Saco, Claudette Bellerose and her husband, Richard, of Biddeford, Linda Cote and her husband, Rock, of Lyman; one brother, Richard Perreault of Meriden, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were by Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford.

 

Elizabeth Egan

 

Elizabeth Egan, 78, of Saco, died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Evergreen Manor in Saco.

Arrangements were by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.

 

Lena ‘LaJoie’ LeCours

 

 Lena “LaJoie” LeCours, 92, of Saco, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at Glengariff Healthcare Facility in Glen Cove, N.Y.
