Richard C. Auger
Richard C. Auger, 76, of Biddeford, died Monday, March 14, 2011, at his home.
He was born April 12, 1934, in Biddeford to Conrad and Florence Delorge Auger. He graduated in 1953 from the former St. Louis High School, where he played football and was in the school band.
On June 25, 1955, he married Lorraine Drouin at St. Andre Church in Biddeford.
Mr. Auger served in the U.S. Army and had a long career in real estate. In 1968 he became proprietor of Morin-Auger Agency in Sanford, which he owned and operated until 1983. He then worked as a broker for Libby Real Estate in Kennebunk from 1984 until his retirement in 2004.
He was an Eagle Scout and fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Luke E. Hart Council in Biddeford. He was a Sanford Rotarian, past president of the York County Board of Realtors, notary public and dedimus justice, and a founding member of the Maine State Board of Tax Review.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Clement Auger, in 1976 and his sister, Doris Corriveau, in 1999.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years of Biddeford; one son, Charles Auger and his wife, Janice, of Kennebunk; and three granddaughters.

Yvonne M. Desrochers
Yvonne M. Desrochers, 95, of Biddeford, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
She was born May 19, 1915, in Stoke Center, Quebec, Canada, to Wilfrid and Ubaldine Janelle Gadbois and was educated in Biddeford schools.
On June 6, 1936, she married Urbain E. Desrochers at St. Andre Church in Biddeford. He died on Jan. 9, 2011.
Mrs. Desrochers worked more than 40 years at Pepperell Manufacturing Co. in Biddeford and retired in 1994.
She was a member of Biddeford Senior Citizens and St. Joseph Church of the Good Shepherd Parish in Biddeford.
She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Cote of Columbus, Ga.; three sons, Richard Desrochers and his wife, Lynn, of Saco, Robert Desrochers and his wife, Marguerite, of Saco and Dennis Desrochers and his wife, Wendy, of Pownal; three brothers, Albert Gadbois and his wife, Priscilla, of Kennebunk, Gerard Gadbois and his wife, Angeline, of Middletown, Conn., and Philip Gadbois and his wife, Claudette, of Biddeford; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Betty Gendron
Betty Gendron, 80, of Biddeford, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
She was born Nov. 29, 1930, in South Hiendley, Yorkshire, England, to Norman and Caroline Helliwell Rose. She was educated in South Hiendly, England, and moved to the U.S. in 1949.
On June 13, 1953, she married Charles A. Gendron Jr. at St. Mary’s Church in Biddeford.
Mrs. Gendron worked at the Biddeford Beef Shop and Saco-Lowell Shop in Biddeford, Corning Components in Kennebunk and Biddeford and the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport and Delray Beach, Fla. She retired in 1994.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, hooking rugs, making home crafts, traveling and wintering in Florida for several years.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Northern York County Family YMCA, Biddeford Senior Citizens and Good Shepherd Parish.
Survivors include two sons, Michael R. Gendron and his wife, Patricia, of Biddeford and Steven M. Gendron and his wife, Mona, of Biddeford; one sister, Rose Arcand and her husband, Wilfred, of Sanford; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; and her companion, Henry Bresette of Biddeford.

Florida M. Dupuis
Florida M. “BéBé” Dupuis, 92, of Biddeford, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was born June 26, 1918, in Biddeford to Barney and Elise Couture Butler. She was educated in local schools.
On Jan. 2, 1936, she married Alphonse N. Dupuis at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. He died March 17, 1985.
Mrs. Dupuis and her husband owned and operated Busy Bee Farm in Biddeford for a few years. She also worked many years in local textile mills and shoe shops and owned and operated her own cleaning service.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Boston; two brothers, Arthur and Joseph Lessard; and three sisters, Ada Arbour, Pauline Labranche and Alice Williams.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Dupuis and his wife, Bunny, of Limerick; five daughters, Patricia Boisvere of Florida, Claire Beaucage of Saco, Susan Amelotte and her husband, Gerry, of Troy, Diane Dupuis and her husband, Terrence Magee, of South Paris and Donna Dupuis and her companion, Francisco Gomez, of Biddeford; two brothers, Paul Butler and Charlie Butler, both of Houston, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Conrad Boissonneault
Conrad P. Boissonneault, 72, of Saco died Friday, March 11, 2011, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
He was born Feb. 13, 1939, in Biddeford, to Arthur J. and Laurette (Savard) Boissonneault. He was a 1959 St. Louis High School graduate.
He married Jeannine F. Rodrigue at the former St. Andre Church in Biddeford.
Mr. Boissonneault enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard on Sept. 6, 1959, and served for four years.
He last worked at North Berwick’s Pratt & Whitney, UTC, as an inspector for more than 18 years until his retirement in 1998. He previously worked at Saco Tannery for more than 12 years.
Mr. Boissonneault was a parishioner of Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco and a member of the Biddeford-Saco Elks Club. He loved to play golf across Maine, wintering in Florida with his wife, camping and attending his grandchildren’s functions and sporting events.
He was preceded in death by his brother Ralph Boissonneault and sister Janet Paradis.
Survivors include Jeannine F. Boissonneault of Saco, his wife of 49 years; one daughter, Donna M. Langevin and her husband, Norman, of Biddeford; one son, Steven P. Boissonneault and his wife, Lisa, of Saco; four sisters, Rita Chadbourn of Biddeford, Elaine Seader of San Antonio, Texas, Joanne Day and her husband, John, of Freeport and Carol Joncas and her husband, Robert, of Biddeford; three brothers, Donald Boissonneault and his wife, Marguerite, of Saco, Norman Boissonneault of Biddeford, Richard Boissonneault and his wife, Jeanne, of Dayton; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lorraine J. Boudreau
Lorraine J. Boudreau, 61, of Biddeford, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at her home after a lengthy illness with cancer.
She was born Sept. 21, 1949, in Biddeford to Maurice and Therese Lariviere Mercier. She was educated in Saco schools and graduated from Biddeford High School Adult Education.
Mrs. Boudreau worked several years in local shoe shops and at Huntington Commons in Kennebunk for 15 years until she retired in 2010.
On Sept. 28, 1968, she married Dominick J. Boudreau at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Saco. He died Aug. 1, 1988.
Survivors include her fiancé, Normand A. Lamirande of Biddeford; one son, Dominick J. Boudreau Jr. of Saco; three daughters, Shari Ross of Saco, Shannon Fleurant and her husband, Brian, of Biddeford and Christina Mahaney and her husband, Gary, of Jackman; her parents, of Saco; four brothers, Maurice J. Mercier Jr. and his wife, Dorothy, of Arundel, Ralph Mercier and his wife, Carol, of Biddeford, Raymond Mercier of Birmingham, Ala., and Ron Mercier of Poland; four sisters, Annette Brown of Biddeford, Priscilla Dube of Biddeford, Lucille Libby and her husband, Roger, of Saco and Diane Pepin and her husband, Andy, of Biddeford; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Irene A. Precourt
Irene A. Precourt, 78, of Saco, died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at her home.
She was born March 28, 1932, in North Attleboro, Mass., to Frank and Alice Lancaster McQuade. She was educated in North Attleboro schools.
Mrs. Precourt was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family. She also worked for her husband, Paul, who was a general contractor in Attleboro, Mass., for many years.
She and her husband moved to Saco in 2003. They enjoyed traveling together.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Paula Precourt, one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul W. Precourt of Saco; two sons, Roger Precourt and his wife, Laurie, of Attleboro, Mass., and Richard Precourt and his wife, Crystal, of Norton, Mass.; one daughter, Doris Precourt of Rhode Island; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rachel J. Ruel
Rachel Janette Milliard Ruel, 74, of Saco, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, surrounded by her family at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.
She was born Sept. 9, 1936, in Saco to Ernest and Bertha Rousseau Millard and lived in Saco her entire life.
Mrs. Ruel was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her family.
She enjoyed playing cards and knit slippers for her family at Christmas. Her hobbies included making puzzles and watching soap operas. Her greatest joy in life was babysitting her grandchildren.
Mrs. Ruel was a parishioner of the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers Roland, Leo and Richard; her sister, Theresa Howard; and an infant granddaughter, Angelia Lapierre.
Survivors include her children, Janet Camire and her husband, Michael, of Saco, Pauline Camire and her husband, Roland Jr., of Saco, Michael Ruel and his wife, Stephanie, of Scarborough and Linda Lapierre and her husband, Jerry, of Biddeford; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Cecilia B. Larouche
Cecilia B. Larouche, 91, of Saco, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.
She was born July 5, 1919, in Berlin, N.H., to Phillipe and Fedora Girourd Magnant. She was educated at St. Joseph Convent School in Berlin, N.H.
Mrs. Larouche was employed by Pepperell Manufacturing in Biddeford for five years. She also worked for Tobie’s Drive Inn in Saco for 40 years and retired in 1995.
She enjoyed Bingo, cross-stitching and playing cards.
Mrs. Larouche was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Larouche, on June 27, 2000, and by one brother, Phillipe A. Magnant.
Survivors include one son, Edmund Larouche of Saco; three daughters, Constance Goulet and her husband, Leo, of Dayton, Shirley Robichaud and her husband, Philip, of Kennebunk and Lillian Labonte and her husband, Paul, of Biddeford; 21 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Violet Bissonnette
Violet Bissonnette, 81, of Lyman and formerly of Biddeford, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born March 20, 1929, in Biddeford to Adelard and Lumina Tardif Tanguay. She was educated in Biddeford schools.
She was employed at the WonderBar Restaurant in Biddeford for several years and also worked at Morning Star in Kennebunk for 17 years. She later was employed for four years by F.M.I. in Biddeford.
She liked walking and going to yard sales, loved animals, was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bissonnette was a parishioner of the former St. Andre Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Biddeford.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Lionel Bissonnette, on Oct. 20, 2008; her son, Norman L. Bissonnette; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her four sons, Gerald N. Bissonnette and his wife, Marolyn, of Saco, Gary P. Bissonnette and his wife, Terry, of Lyman, Norman R. Bissonnette and his wife, Tammy, of Levittown, Pa., and Nicky R. Bissonnette of Old Orchard Beach; three sisters, Jacqueline Croteau, Gloria Dubois and Paulette Ruel, all of Biddeford; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
