Rejane T. Roberge

Rejane T. Roberge, 78, of Londonderry, N.H., and formerly of Biddeford, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at the Concord Regional VNA Hospice in Concord, N.H.

She was born Jan. 16, 1933, in Biddeford to Ernest and Yvonne Corriveau Dutremble and was educated in Biddeford schools.

On May 19, 1956, she married Jean M. Roberge at St. Andre Church in Biddeford.

Mrs. Roberge was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, sewing, square dancing and traveling.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years of Londonderry, N.H.; two daughters, Gisele Samson of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and Annette Snyder of Manchester, N.H.; one brother, Joseph E. (Mel) Dutremble and his wife, Doris, of Hampton, N.H.; three sisters-in-law, Frances Allen of Old Orchard Beach, Suzie Bolduc and her husband, Camille, of Biddeford and Louise Laverriere of Biddeford; and five grandchildren.

Arrangements were by Hope Memorial Chapel, Biddeford.

Albert J. Lamirande

Albert Joseph Lamirande, 82, of Saco died Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at St. Andre Healthcare Facility in Biddeford.

He was born Dec. 23, 1928, in Canada to Henri and Emma (Genest) Lamirande. He attended schools in both Canada and Biddeford.

Mr. Lamirande served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Before he enlisted in the Army he worked in area textile mills. Following his discharge he owned and operated Al’s Barber Shop during the 1960s. He closed the shop in the 1970s and was a Biddeford police officer for more than 20 years. Following his career in law enforcement he worked odd jobs,  including as a security guard at Southern Maine Medical Center until his retirement in the early 1990s.

Mr. Lamirande was a member of the VFW and Saco American Legion Post 96. He was an avid dog lover and raised Yorkshire terriers. He also loved gardening.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Andre Lamirande, and a sister, Rita Dusseault.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Muriel and her husband, Angel, of Biddeford, Cathy Lamirande and her companion, Terry Barrett of Sanford and Janice Casavant and her husband Guy of Biddeford; two sons, Richard Lamirande of Biddeford and Bruce Lamirande and his wife, Katrina, of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Aline Richards, Doris Vadnais and her husband, Ralph, and Madeleine Gaudette and her husband, Marcel, all of Biddeford; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
